Lot of 4 Vintage English Puncture Repair Kits

(for bikes, motorcycles and car tube tires)

In the old days tires had rubber tubes inside them that often were punctured. Kits were developed to repair these punctures and in fact are still used on bike tires today. This was before most stuff was manufactured in China and England was a source of these kits. Stored in distinctive tin boxes the they became automotive and bike collectables. Modern kits usually are of lesser quality and have plastic boxes.

These kits have all had some use but are nearly all complete. In one case the glue has been all used in the other boxes even the glue is still there! The narrow tins for Dunlop and Bridgeport have plastic bottoms, the Chemico narrow tin and the Bridgeport wide tin are all metal. The Kits are made in Northern Ireland with the Chemico kit being made in England.

These tins would be a great way to start your collection or to add period pieces to your vintage car, motorcycle or bike.  In fact they would be a good addition to your tool kit!
